A Warm Welcome From Bossier Schools 

   We at Bossier Schools take great pride in being named one of the fastest growing school districts in Louisiana, not just in student enrollment but performance as well. 

   With a record-breaking 21,655 students attending Bossier Schools, our strength is our neighborhood schools. Each school offers every child a full array of learning opportunities, from Honors classes and Advanced Placement to Robotics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and enhanced enrichment courses. 

   The Bossier School System is also recognized for continually exceeding the state average. In 2011-12 the district’s LEAP scores and graduation rate earned it the distinction of being named among the top 16 highest ranking school districts in Louisiana. Performance scores also led the Department of Education to award Bossier Schools an overall letter grade of a ‘B.’
