WIN A CAR AND $100,000 FOR YOUR SCHOOL!

For a teenager, there are few other rites of passage more important than than passing their driver's test and getting the license to drive. For parents, it is one of the scariest times. The first year behind the wheel can be the most dangerous time for a new driver.

Instead of focusing on teen driver safety programs that use scare tactics, though, Celebrate My Drive is taking a new approach -- with one big party. It's from 2-6 p.m. this Saturday, September 15, in Airline High School's front parking lot and is sponsored by State Farm.

Teens are invited to join the celebration by enjoying a day of live music, karaoke, a talent show, car show and GIANT tricycle races. There will also be giveaways and free food. The goal? To encourage teens to drive safely and enjoy the road ahead.

Need a new car? What about money for your school? Go to Celebrate My Drive's Facebook page and 'like' it. The school with the most 'likes' will be entered to win a $100,000 grant. Students between 15 and 19 years of age can also enter to win a 2013 Chevy. But you'd better hurry! The contest ends September 15. That's this Saturday!

Make every mile count. Celebrate My Drive.
