You can be involved:
At home
You don’t need to be an expert in education. You can help your child by:

· Promoting a healthy lifestyle
· Communicating openly and regularly
At school
You can get involved at your child’s school in a number of ways. You can:
· Go to parent-teacher conferences
· Attend special events
· Share your knowledge and experience through volunteer activities
Although you may not have a lot of free time, there are still ways to be involved with your child’s school!
In the community
As a parent, you can make your voice heard within the community. Your involvement may help your child’s school receive additional support. This may lead to:
· More funding for the school system
· Better school facilities
· Increased awareness of the importance of quality education
· More volunteering in schools and other assistance from community members
You can benefit, too! Involvement in the community can lead to new friendships and professional contacts.
