Hello, military families and welcome to Bossier Parish Schools. I am here to help ease the transition for the military connected students moving to our district and serve as your navigator to promote smooth school transition.  I am available to help solve challenges related to relocation and separations and serve as the liaison between district staff, incoming military families and installation leadership.

Please contact me via phone or email in order to answer all of your school related questions including registration, special education, resources, school zones and any others related to school transition.

DoDEA Grants and Military Services Manager

No question about it, our kids out-smart us when it comes to technology. They are the experts, not us. So how do we, as parents, ensure they are being smart on social media and how they use the high-tech tools at their fingertips?

Bossier Schools is pleased to present the free workshop “Parenting in the 21st Century: Keeping Kids Out of High-Tech Trouble,” led by nationally renowned counselor, professor and author Dr. Russell A. Sabella from 6-7:30 p.m. October 26 at Bossier Instructional Center. BIC is located at 2719 Airline Drive in Bossier City.

Dr. Sabella will focus primarily on issues and solutions surrounding social networking and cyberbullying, as well as developing, monitoring and repairing one’s digital reputation. Parents will leave empowered after learning best practices on how to monitor, supervise and help establish boundaries for technology use, especially among younger children.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this informative night in which we learn from an expert how to navigate the electronic terrain.
