  The Bossier Parish School System is happy to assist you in making your classroom instruction materials durable and long-lasting.  To accommodate the laminating equipment and amount of laminating film available, the following guidelines will be observed:

The following items cannot be laminated:

- Student folders or take-home student projects.

- Place mats, names for lockers, name tags or other one time use items, (I.E. Door decorations, banners for pep rallies, stage sets, etc.

- Bulletin board "background" paper.

- Item thicker than 1/32".

- Glitter, staples, chalk, crayons, brads, hooks or pins (sharp objects).  Any other raw art, check with media.

- Interior of student made books and big books.  Front and back covers of student made books and big books are allowed.

ONLY TEACHERS EMPLOYED TO TEACH IN BOSSIER PARISH DURING THE COMING SCHOOL YEAR ARE PERMITTED TO LAMINATE.

Employee Badge Procedures...

All Full-Time Bossier Parish Employees may receive their employee badge from the Resource Center between the hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm.  It is best to arrive before 3:45pm. 

Substitute Transportation personnel (bus drivers and aides) and Contract Food Service personnel are issued a part-time badge.  Substitute Teachers do not receive a Bossier Parish badge.  Be advised, part-time badges will not allow you entrance into Bossier Parish events.

If you have lost/broken your badge you may come to the Resource Center for a replacement.  The cost for this service is $1.00.  You may not request a replacement by email or greenbox. 

Bossier Parish offers a “Senior Appreciation Card” for all senior citizens 65 and over that reside within Bossier Parish.  This card offers the cardholder admission to all Bossier Parish sporting events.  (Excluding jamboree and playoff games.)  Any qualified senior may come to the Resource Center to receive their card.  You must provide photo identification that proves your eligibility.  (birth date and residence within Bossier Parish)  If either of these requirements are not met, a card will not be issued.
