Parent Information

Please be aware regularly scheduled safety drills are held at each campus.  These include crisis lockdowns, tornado/weather drills, as well as fire drills, in order to maintain your child/students safety.

The Bossier School System is currently in the process of installing security cameras on all elementary campuses.  Once in place, this system will provide an “additional tool” in maintaining a safe school environment to exist at all 18 elementary schools.

From the Director of Security

Danny Dison serves as the Director of Security for the Bossier Parish School System.  Danny is a retired Chief of the Bossier City Police Department and also serves as a Captain with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.  He can be reached at  549-5036.

Bossier Schools would like to thank the Bossier City Fire Department for signing off on a Mutual Aid Agreement.  The aid agreement allows our Class 1 Fire Department to respond to the new Parkway High School and W. T. Lewis Elementary School, both of which are located just beyond the city limits of Bossier City.  However, the department’s fire stations are nearby of both schools.
