Special Programs/Professional Development Department

The Bossier Parish Curriculum and Professional Development Department plans, implements, coordinates and documents current research, professional development, and grant writing initiatives for the Bossier Parish School Board. We help coordinate and document  district level professional development training sessions, assist with new teacher training programs, and assist schools and departments with site based professional development and grant writing efforts.

Personnel from the Curriculum/Professional Development Department include Emma Jordan, Supervisor of 6-8 Grades and Martha Patten, Curriculum Coordinator of Professional Development.

The department is located in the Bossier Instructional Center, 2719 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111
