  • Mrs. Samuel's 7th Grade Quest for Success class shows off their food trucks!

    Mrs. Samuel's 7th grade Quest for Success had a big task to complete. They had to design a food truck business and determine all of the aspects of having your own business by submitting a business plan. Then they had to actually design their truck and made a 3-D model of their food trucks.

  • BSVLP November Students of the Month

    Congratulations to our BSVLP Middle School Students of the Month for November. The students are selected each month by their teachers and recognized for their outstanding student performance. We are very proud of our students and are excited to recognize these six students.

  • BSVLP Teachers Working to Improve Student Learning

    Our virtual Kindergarten through Third Grade teachers met together to better understand student reading difficulties. Mrs. O'Neal presented the information from a Bossier Parish training to help teachers broaden their teacher toolbox. This training focused on reading deficits and identifying characteristics of dyslexic like reading stumbling blocks.

  • Third Grade Spends the Day at the Farm

    Mrs. Ashlock and Mrs. Redmon met their virtual students at the Dixie Farm for a fun filled day of learning through activities at the farm. Students had studied several diverse topics about Louisiana environmental changes and the life cycle of the fall farm and its products. Students had a great time and enjoyed meeting their virtual classmates.

  • Bossier Parish offers Free Virtual Tutoring for All Students

    Accelerate Offers Free, Virtual Tutoring for all Students. This is a service provided by Bossier Parish schools through Venturing Educational Services. Students can receive 10 hours of virtual tutoring for math and 10 hours of virtual tutoring for ELA. Check out the attached flyer.
