    Bossier Schools' Special Education department would like to invite parents of students with disabilities to attend an Agency Fair from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, December 1 at Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning, located at 1020 Innovation Drive in Bossier City.

    Fall LEAP 2025 (End of Course) Testing Schedule

    Fall LEAP 2025 testing is scheduled for December 1st - December 13th at Haughton High School. All students currently enrolled in English I, English II, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, and U.S. History will be participating in LEAP 2025 end-of-course testing. LEAP 2025 testing is required for graduation and scores will count as final exam grades for these courses. Read the full article for more information.

    Congratulations to those students who earned PERFECT scores on LEAP 2025 exams during the 2020-2021 school year. Kylie Small (8th ELA, Alg I), Lawson Moock (Eng I), and Lowery Lain (Eng II) are shown on the left with Mr. Haynie after being recognized at the Bossier Parish School Board Meeting. Elizabeth Smith (Eng II), Madelyn Pyle (8th SS), Dani Droddy (Eng II), Jase White (Eng II), and Joshua Sewell (Eng II) are shown on the right after receiving their awards from Mr. Haynie at school.

  • LEAP Accelerate Tutoring Program

    To help students prepare for LEAP 2025 testing and retesting, the district is offering a LEAP Accelerate tutoring program from Nov. 1 - Dec. 3. Tutoring will be available Monday - Thursday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.  On Mondays and Wednesdays, students can get help with Biology from Ms. Pease in S221 and Algebra I/Geometry from Mrs. Melton in S224.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students can get help with English I from Mrs. Alexander in room E10, English II from Ms. Arnold in EN7, and US History from Mrs. Humphries in the Library.

  • Drivers Ed Sign-up

    Drivers Ed Sign-up is Saturday, 1/8/2022 at 9 am, 1st come, first served. Class will run from 1/10/2022-1/21/2022 from 2:30-5:30 in the Library. Cost is $400 cash or money order - NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Students will need to be 15 by Spring Break 3/11/21. Students will need a TIP before they can drive. Info can be found at expresslane.org  the DMV website.

  • ACT 21 Domination

    The October ACT test results are in and we are happy to announce that 8 more students have earned the distinction of ACT 21 DOMINATION and received their tickets for a FREE t-shirt. Students earning a 21 or above on the ACT are allowed to wear their t-shirts with jeans on the 21st of each month (or the Friday before if the 21st is on a weekend). There are currently 119 Buccaneers on campus that hold this distinction. Don't miss your chance to join the ranks and remember to sign-up for ACT testing.

  • Optimist International Essay and Oratorical Essay Contest 

    The Optimist International Essay and Oratorical Essay Contest will be open to all Bossier high school students and there is cash money up for grabs: You could win up to $300. A $2,500 college scholarship and plaque will be awarded to first-place winners at the district level. Come by Mrs. Martin's room (English 5) for more information.

  • The next ACT is scheduled for Dec. 11.  The regular registration deadline was Nov. 5th and the late registration deadline is Nov. 19th.  For more information about the national ACT testing dates, visit the HHS ACT Testing page.
