• What are the expectations for the students?

    • Students are required to be active participants in daily lessons, complete assignments, and submit school work each day either through OnCourse Classroom or Edgenuity.  All assignments must be completed and turned in daily.
    • Students are required to complete all academic work on the parish supplied chromebook.  This chromebook is only to be used for academic endeavors.  Bossier Parish reserves the right to monitor all technology resource activity.
    • Students are required to participate in daily lessons for each of their classes/subjects.  Daily attendance will be monitored through the daily lesson participation.
    • Students must attend their teacher's provided office hours and will be expected to log on when they have questions about their lessons or assignments or when the teacher has requested the student attend his/her office hours for one-on-one or small group instruction, assessments, or are assigned accelerate lessons to help further master course standards.
    • Students will need to contact their teacher(s) when they need additional help or lesson clarification.
    • Students must make adequate progress towards standards mastery each week and maintain the pace of the course.
    • Students are required to engage in meaningful, two-way communication with their teacher(s) each week.  This is a mandatory requirement.
    • Students must attend and participate in all state and district mandated assessments.
    • Students must adhere to all Bossier Parish dress code policy and BSVLP dress code policy during all live interactions.
    • Students must follow all grade-level expectations for digital citizenship.
    • Students are required to follow the Bossier School Board expected student behaviors and acknowledge that students will be disciplined according to this policy.
    • Students are expected to follow all Bossier Parish guidelines when referring to technology acceptable use and its policy.  Proper behavior as it relates to the use of computers is no different than proper behavior in other aspects school life.  All users are expected to use technology in a responsible, ethical, and polite manner.  
    • Students will continue to follow and maintain all expectations contained in the acceptable use policy and are responsible for content posted through login and account activity.  Sharing or using usernames and passwords with others or using other's usernames and passwords is strictly prohibited.  Students will utilize Clever for all logins and passwords.
    • It is expected that students keep online interaction positive and constructive at all times and follow Bossier Schools Virtual Online Netiquette Expectations.
