• Hello! My name is Gail Rittenberry and I am the middle school teacher for Bossier Schools Virtual Program and a Business Teacher for the high school. I am the proud mother of Marie Rittenberry, who is in the Masters of Divinity program at Methodist Theological School in Ohio. I have a beautiful grand-fur-baby (cat) named Pyro and the best parents anyone could have.

I have an Associate’s Degree from McNeese State University, Bachelor’s Degree from LSUS, Master’s Degree from University of Phoenix, and an Executive Certificate from Liberty University. I am currently enrolled in a Phd program with Liberty University for Public Administration.

I have worked for the Bossier Parish School Board since 1998. During my time in the school system I began as a secretary at Central Office, taught History at Parkway High School, Science at Haughton Middle School, Louisiana History and World History at Elm Grove Middle School and all three Social Studies classes for Middle School at Butler Educational Complex. In 2014-2021, I was the Instructional Coach for Rusheon Middle School for seven years. While at Rusheon I enrolled in Liberty University's Public Administration Doctoral program. When entering the dissertation process of the program I decided to use my experience as an online student and became a virtual teacher with the Bossier Schools Virtual Learning Program, located at Butler Educational Complex.
