Meet Mrs. Wienk

We would like to extend a huge welcome to our new AP, Mrs. Wienk!

Mrs. Wienk has been in education for 13 years. She has taught math and was a middle school Assistant Principal prior to moving to Louisiana in the summer of 2022. She has served as an Activities & Athletics Director and is currently pursuing an EdD in Learning and Organizational Change with a focus on improving collaborative relationships between schools and parents. Mrs. Wienk's husband, Adam, is Master Air Attack Planner at Barksdale AFB, and they have two energetic children. Mrs. Wienk is honored to join Benton High School and excited to support staff and students. Tiger Pride!

Meet One of Our New APs

We are excited to introduce Bryan George as one of our new assistant principals. Coach George has been teaching science and coaching at Benton for 14 years. He coached football, baseball, and soccer. Coach George’s wife, Maggie, is a teacher at KES and he has two beautiful daughters. Coach George is looking forward to serving Benton High School in this new role. Tiger Pride!

Introducing Our New Principal 

Tiger Family, 

I am excited to announce that I will be serving the students and staff as the new Benton High School principal. I have served as the assistant principal for the last 7 years and am entering my 18th year in education. In 2012, I began teaching social studies at Benton High. In 2016, I was appointed assistant principal at Benton High School. 

I currently reside in Benton with my husband, Jarrod Clark, and we have two daughters who attend Benton schools. I look forward to continuing to serve my students, staff, and this wonderful community in a new capacity.

My hope is to empower students to perform to their full potential in academics and extracurriculars while fostering positive community relations. I am thrilled to serve as your next principal of Benton High School!
