WHAT IS IT?
PBIS is a framework or approach for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all students. PBIS IS NOT a packaged curriculum, scripted intervention, or manualized strategy.

HOW DO YOU EARN THEM?
Academic Reward:
- A = 2 BPSTIL bucks every 4 1/2 weeks
- B = 1 BPSTIL buck every 4 1/2 weeks
Recognized for behavior that exceeds expectations
Teachers may have additional reasons to earn themBPSTIL BUCKS REDEMPTIONS
You can use your bucks for the following:

4 Bucks Erase 1 Tardy per semester

1-3 BPSTIL Bucks for Fountain Soda, Popcorn, Pickle, and select other items from the Bistro on the LAST FRIDAY of each month

PBIS Reward week will be the last full week of each month.
- Friday will be buck redemption day in the Bistro.
- Gift card drawings will be held on Wednesday.
- PBIS Fun Days will occur quarterly.
*ALL BPSTIL Bucks MUST have teacher signature and date or will not be recognized.
*Students can only redeem BPSTIL Bucks one time. After use, they are no longer valid.

DEFINITIONS OF MINOR AND MAJOR INFRACTIONS
MINOR
10 — Disturbs the school or habitually violates any rule.
17 — Violates traffic and safety regulations.
19 — Is habitually tardy and/or absent.
43 — Improper dress.
47 — Violates Cell Phone Policy.MAJOR
01 — Willful Disobedience
02 — Treats an authority with disrespect.
04 — Uses profane and/or obscene language.
07 — Use or possesses any controlled dangerous substances governed by the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law, in any form.
13 — Possesses weapon(s) as defined in Section 921 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code.
14 — Possesses firearms (not prohibited by federal law), knives, or other implements, which may be used as weapons, the careless use of which might inflict harm or injury (Excludes pocket knives with a blade length < 2 1/2”).
15 — Throws missiles liable to injure others.
21 — Commits any other serious offense.
32 — Serious Bodily Injury.
33 — Use of OTC medication in a manner other than prescribed or authorized.
35 — Bullying/Harassment
37 — False Alarm/Bomb Threat.
40 — Public Indecency.
41 — Obscene behavior or Possession of Obscene Material.
45 — Trespassing Violation.
46 — Failure to Serve Assigned Consequence.
48 — Sexual Harassment.
