Foreign Language

  • The Foreign Language curriculum provides a comprehensive study of language and develops the four skills of language learning: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
     

    Spanish I - 1 credit

    Spanish I emphasizes the acquisition of basic language skills in Spanish: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Forty percent or more of the course involves speaking and listening. Hispanic culture is integrated throughout the course.
    (Prerequisite: None)

    Spanish II - 1 credit

    This course expands basic language skills in Spanish: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Forty percent or more of the course involves speaking and listening. Hispanic culture is integrated throughout the course.
    (Prerequisite: Spanish I)

    Spanish III - 1 credit

    This course emphasizes Spanish literature and the effective use of Spanish as a communication tool.
    (Prerequisite: Spanish II)
