i3 Art Expo Makes a Big Comeback

In March 2020, Bossier Schools was just a month out from staging the 3rd Annual i3 Art Expo. Then, the world as we knew it was suddenly turned upside down. COVID drove schools and society into lockdown, consequently forcing us to pull the plug on this favorite family event. 

Fast forward (well, it has not seemed fast) to now and Bossier Schools’ i3 Art Expo is back! We are beyond excited to restore a sense of normalcy by offering the children of Bossier Parish the chance to shine during this three-day showcase that highlights their amazing talents.  

Co-sponsored by the City of Bossier City and backed by numerous community partners,  Bossier Schools will take the Bossier Civic Center by storm March 31-April 2 for a fun, interactive experience that puts an emphasis not only on the visual and performing arts, but also literacy and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). 

Every second grader will be bused to the i3 Art Expo during the day for a field trip immersed in fun and educational opportunities. Then at night, and all day Saturday, April 2, our doors swing open to the public and there will be competitions galore including Boe Bot Wars, Mic Drop, the new iCAN building contest, short films and the vocal, literary, musical and theatrical arts. Families can also enjoy hands-on activities, view artwork, watch student (and faculty) performances and demonstrations, shop Bossier Schools' book fair and parents can participate alongside their kids and enjoy time together. Making it even better is everything is free.   

As we push the reset button on this being our 3rd Annual i3 Art Expo, we want to express gratitude to the City of Bossier City and our local business and community partners for continuing to invest in this event and provide these opportunities for our children. It is what sets Bossier Schools and our parish apart.
