Welcome
Welcome to the Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning (BPSTIL). At BPSTIL, students learn how to combine academic skills learned in the classroom with practical experience in shop/lab settings. Many of these students are also dually enrolled with the Louisiana Technical College (LTC) and Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), which allows them to earn college credit toward a technical diploma or an associate degree while still in high school. The majority of classes available at BPSTIL offer an Industry-Based Certification. Industry-Based Certifications empower students to gain meaningful part-time or full-time employment immediately upon graduation. Advisory boards from the business community assist in directing curriculum to meet the state and local employment needs.
Whether you pursue post-secondary education at a traditional four-year college, a two-year college, or a technical college or seek full-time employment after high school graduation, BPSTIL offers programs that may benefit you. As a result of the technical training received in high school, many students find well-paying, part-time employment opportunities while still in school. These part-time jobs often lead to a meaningful full-time career in an exciting, interesting field.
