I am honored to serve as the Principal of Legacy Elementary. A proud product of the Bossier Parish School system, I graduated from Airline High School, then attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches where I received my graduate and undergraduate degrees in Education.
Before coming to Legacy, I taught at Benton High School for nine years, then served as the high school ELA and Foreign Language Curriculum Coordinator for Bossier Parish for five years. I served as Assistant Principal at Legacy for three years before being named Principal.
We are proud of our positive school culture where students not only excel academically, but thrive in all areas of development. By nurturing the whole child and building strong relationships, we are able to help students develop confidence and reach their full potential.
I’m married to Blake Ogilvie, and we have two daughters, Jennings and Jemma. I am passionate about assisting teachers and children, and feel honored to work with our incredible staff, wonderful students, and supportive parents. I am proud to be a bear!
