Bossier Parish Parent Education Center
The Parent Center is excited to participate in the education of your students. We want to extend an invitation for you to be further involved and engaged in helping support students with the school-level goals set by the schools.
All students need parental support beginning with their preschool years throughout each student’s educational career. Student preparation is necessary to meet the diverse challenges in the rapidly changing academic and career environments. Parental support is pertinent for our students to be successful and ready to meet that diversity.
Education is key to having students ready to meet today’s challenges; however, strong parent partnerships with teachers and schools will benefit students. The Parent Center is asking parents and families to help attain school-level goals for students through building relationships with schools.
Participation and continuous support are needed to help educate and motivate our students, which will have far-reaching effects and outcomes for everyone. When schools and families work together, our children will have better academic achievements:
- adaptability to school
- grades and attendance
- social skill
- higher graduation rates
It is a win-win situation for our students, families, community, and state.
The Parent Center asks that you contact your student’s school and teachers to offer your support or how to become engaged in daily classroom assignments. We invite you to visit the Parent Center and check out literacy or technology materials to connect home and school learning.
