  • ‼️Attention all current 7th grade students in Bossier Parish!
✏️Applications are now being accepted for the 2023-24 BPSTIL 8th Grade Academy at the Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning (BPSTIL).  As part of the 8th Grade Academy students will spend half of their school day at BPSTIL completing a combination of middle school core and high school career & technical education (CTE) coursework.  The other half of the day will be spent on the home school campus, completing the remaining required 8th grade courses.  Students will have the opportunity to work alongside Bossier Parish middle and high school students from all over the district in a unique learning environment that focuses on building real world skills.  This opportunity is available to a limited number of students from each middle school in Bossier Parish.
✏️Students who are interested in applying for the 2023-24 BPSTIL 8th Grade Academy should click the link to complete the online application form.  Students will be required to select one program of study - Pre-Engineering, Digital Arts, Agriscience, or Business of Retail.  Within each program of study, students will have the opportunity to earn 1-3 high school courses, an industry based credential, and complete two middle school subjects while on the BPSTIL campus for half of each school day.  Transportation will be provided.  Students must be logged in to their bossierstudents.org account in order to complete the application, and it can only be completed one time.  The application link will be available until April 14th.
