The Disabled Veterans of Louisiana ran Bingo games for more than two years to raise the money, only to give it away to Bossier youth. As cadets from each unit were presented $5,000 checks for their school’s JROTC program, they handed letters expressing their gratitude to the veterans.

There are nearly 1,400 cadets involved in JROTC in Bossier Parish. They will use the money in various ways that promote service, commemorate our nation’s heroes and further bolster the JROTC program.

Bossier Schools extends sincere thanks to the DVL and thanks them for their service.
