    Biography

    I am married with a daughter and two step-daughters, all of whom have graduated. I have two granddaughters and a grandson who is my absolute joy and a step-granddaughter! My husband and I have a small hobby farm with many "critters". I joined South Bossier Fire District Two in 1998 and worked my way from First Responder to Paramedic and multiple other fire and EMS certifications. I have been a National Registry EMT Paramedic since 2002 and have been teaching EMS since 2004. I am currently the volunteer Chief of EMS for South Bossier Fire District Two. I worked as a paramedic on the ambulance for Bossier Parish EMS from 2002 until beginning at BPSTIL in January 2011. I am very passionate about the field of EMS and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I am also an adjunct instructor for LSU Fire and Emergency Training Institute since 2007. I have an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration, an Associate in Applied Science in Paramedicine, Bachelors in Unified Public Safety Administration - Fire and Emergency Medical Service Administration, and my Google Educator Level I Certification. I look forward to a great year with my students!
