Bossier Schools Presents First Group of Reach University Graduates
It was a special evening filled with pomp and circumstance as Bossier Schools acknowledged five paraprofessionals who recently earned bachelor’s degrees from Reach University. All graduates are enrolled in the district’s Para to Teacher Program, one of many of Bossier’s efforts to grow its own teachers. Congratulations go to our graduates:
Tanisha Berry - Plantation Park Elementary
Stephanie Hewett - Central Park Elementary
Kiara Lewis - Bellaire Elementary
Sharon Spearman - Plantation Park Elementary
Shunna West - Plantation Park Elementary
Bossier Schools partnered with Reach University to launch its Para to Teacher program. Reach University offers paraprofessionals a flexible and affordable pathway to obtain either a Bachelor of Arts in Global Education + Elementary & Special Ed Certification (Grades 1-5), or a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies.
Bossier Schools has over 40 paraprofessionals enrolled in Reach University’s program, joining over 200 paras and other support staff across the state of Louisiana.
