The Bossier Bearkats did it again.

The boys’ basketball team hoisted their fourth state championship trophy in the air following a 40-33 victory over Carroll in the LHSAA Non-Select Division I title game in Lake Charles. The win came for Head Coach Justin Collins in his first season, which also earned him the distinction as Coach of the Year. 

Congratulations also to the following Bearkat Basketball players for making the All-District I-4A team: 

Tahj Roots – MVP

Javon Johnson -- 2nd Team

Lakavin Thomas -- Honorable Mention

Kerel Woods – Honorable Mention
