Cue the confetti and shine the spotlight on Haughton Middle School seventh grade teacher April Miles, who was surprised as Middle School Teacher of the Year at the 2025 Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators (LACUE) conference in New Orleans.
LACUE honors trailblazing educators who are leveraging technology to transform the classroom experience, which Miles does exceptionally well at HMS. We applaud her for leading the way and are proud that her forward-thinking and innovative teaching are being recognized at the state level.
