Congratulations are in order for eight incredible Bossier Schools students who showcased their expertise at the Region I Social Studies Fair.

The competition was tough, making their accomplishments even more impressive, and we are thrilled to announce that three of them won first place and are headed to the Louisiana State Social Studies Fair in May in Lake Charles.

Aiden Stanley (Curtis Elementary) – "Launch into the Space Race!"

Lynlee Hinson (Princeton Elementary) – "From Mardi Gras to Tiger Pride: How Louisiana's Favorite Holiday Inspired LSU's Colors"

Garrett Weathersby (Curtis Elementary) – "Anime: The Evolution"

Jael Cornejo & Hazel Moon (Apollo Elementary) – "What Caused World War I"
