We are pleased to announce that our district-wide ACT Testing Day will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
On this day, the Louisiana Department of Education will cover the cost for every junior to take the ACT, providing them the opportunity to earn a college-reportable score at no cost to their families. Bossier Schools will also extend this opportunity to all sophomores and select seniors who have not yet met a college or career readiness marker, continuing our commitment to supporting students’ college and career readiness.
On this day:
● All registered sophomores, juniors, and seniors will take the ACT at their assigned schools during the school day.
● Non-testers (students not scheduled to take the ACT) will participate in a virtual learning day from home on March 24th. This includes all 9th-grade students and any other students who are not assigned to test that day.
This plan ensures that students taking the ACT can focus fully in a quiet, structured testing environment while also continuing meaningful instruction for students who are not testing.
