Congratulations to Louisiana State Champion Chris Fick from the Haughton High School AFJROTC Marksmanship team, who soared to the top of the leader board at the National Championships.

Fick just wrapped up an incredible season by taking 3rd place overall at the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) National Championships in Ohio, competing against 150 other top athletes in the country. Fick represented Air Force JROTC, the State of Louisiana, Bossier Schools and Haughton High School well. He earned a two-day point total personal best of 1,104; a new team record; and a check for $500.

"Chris held up under immense pressure,” said Coach and HHS JROTC Instructor Col. Tony Zucco. “I'm looking forward to seeing what next year has in store.”
