Good afternoon! After a briefing today with the National Weather Service and Bossier Parish emergency agencies, Bossier Schools will be open Thursday, January 9. However, the YEP program will be canceled and all extracurricular and after-school activities will be postponed until a later time.
We will continue to carefully monitor the forecast and provide an update at 4 p.m. Thursday regarding school operations on Friday.
Stay tuned for further information and remember, if you do not already have the Bossier Schools district app, this is a great time to download it so you will get updates from the district in real time. Here’s how to find it:

BELLAIRE: Our 3rd grade students will be hosting a Bellaire Mardi Gras parade around the playground track on Fat Tuesday, March 4, for our PK-2nd grade students and guests. We are seeking donations of "throws" (beads, trinkets, candy). If you are interested and able to donate some items, please send or drop off at the school office. We will disperse all donations throughout the 3rd grade classes. We THANK YOU for your consideration and APPRECIATE your support! :)
