From Bossier Parish to Baton Rouge, Benton Intermediate School Principal Jennifer Burris is garnering accolades.
The 2025-26 Louisiana Middle School Principal of the Year was recently recognized at the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) meeting. She and other honorees from around the state were praised and applauded by BESE members and Louisiana Superintendent of Education Dr. Cade Brumley. Burris was then honored at a reception at the Old State Capitol afterward.
