Our military families have been on the move this summer, and we at Bossier Schools are eager to meet new students and greet returning ones at the district’s annual Military Family Back-to-School Night from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the Bossier Civic Center, located at 620 Benton Road in Bossier City.  

School leaders will be on hand to answer questions about their campuses and extracurricular offerings, ease concerns regarding transitions, and register new students for school. Representatives from the Special Education, Child Nutrition and Transportation departments will also be on hand to answer questions and provide available resources and services, help parents sign up their children for the school meal program, and assist families in finding their child’s bus stop. There will also be student entertainment throughout the evening.

Military Family Back-to-School Night is designed to be a one-stop shop before the 2026-27 school year starts in support of our military-connected families. For more information, contact the Military Family Support department at (318) 549-6813.
