Great news! All Bossier schools and district sites will reopen Monday, February 2, 2026 at their normal time and we can’t wait to welcome back our students!
On Friday our maintenance and transportation departments, custodial staff and school leaders rolled up their sleeves during a district-wide work day, and dozens of business and community partners volunteered their time and equipment to clear away the thick ice that remained on our campuses. Reopening would not have been possible if it weren’t for their help and hard work, especially considering the wind chill is predicted to plunge again over the weekend, and Bossier Schools would like to extend a big thanks to them.
Please remind your child if they walk or ride the bus to be extra cautious as some sidewalks and bus stops may still be icy. We want them to arrive at school safely and ready to learn.
