EGMS Food Drive from December 2nd-12th!!!
Students can drop off items to the Library during 1st period class. Bring 3 items and EARN a jeans/sweatpants day to school on Friday, December 13th.
*Items are due by Thursday, December 12th.
❄️We want to give a friendly reminder about our dress code policy. This week is going to be cold as we return to school, but please note students cannot wear sweatpants. This was becoming an issue right before the break. Students will call their parents to bring a change of clothes if students wear sweatpants. Bossier Parish does not allow sweatpants.
Outerwear reminder: The only hooded garment (including jackets) students may wear is the one purchased from our school spirit store or through our school spirit groups.

Over the past two weeks, our school came together to support the incredible work of the Gingerbread House Children’s Advocacy Center by donating snacks for their programs. Thanks to the care and kindness of our students and families, we collected an incredible amount — likely over $500 worth of snacks!

On Monday, our Student Council and Archery groups had the pleasure of attending the 2024 Special Olympics Bowling Tournament! Special Olympics holds a big place in our hearts, and we were so excited to be able to help out. Our students were able to meet with the elementary school kids, help them bowl, keep score, and make a few new friends. Several members of the community complimented our students on their great behavior and were thankful for the support. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve, and we cannot wait until the next Special Olympics in the Spring!
