Plain Dealing High School Welcomes Mr. Jason Scales as Middle School ELA Teacher
Plain Dealing, LA — Plain Dealing High School is excited to welcome Mr. Jason Scales to our faculty as the new Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Mr. Scales brings a creative spirit and a strong foundation in writing that will help students develop critical thinking and communication skills.
A native of Bossier City, Louisiana, Mr. Scales graduated from Belhaven University with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. His passion for reading and storytelling shapes his teaching philosophy, and he looks forward to helping students engage with literature in meaningful and imaginative ways.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Scales enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new stories through both reading and writing. He is committed to creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and grow.
