UPDATE: 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025 We at Bossier Schools want to provide an update regarding the suspect being sought by police in Bossier City. He is still at-large and a heavy police presence is surrounding Airline, Apollo, Greenacres and Plantation Park. We will dismiss at normal time and police will be patrolling neighborhoods to ensure students arrive home safely. We do encourage parents whose children walk home from school to pick them up if at all possible. They are asked to arrive prior to school dismissal and come inside the school. They will need to show an ID. All after school activities are cancelled. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Bossier Schools will be open as normal Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The latest forecast models from the National Weather Service do not show the wintry mix quite reaching our area other than a possible light dusting of dry snow. Yes, it will be cold, but our buses will be warm, schools will be nice and toasty, and hot meals will be served. We look forward to welcoming our students back Tuesday!
