Our CMS Special Olympics bowling trip was a HUGE success! Some our students even won ribbons for their efforts! Special cheers for faculty and staff who tagged along to help facilitate all of the fun! CMS 8th: There are 25 spots left for the 8th grade Natchitoches Field trip. Money is due Nov. 15. (First come first serve basis) The first 25 eight grade students to turn in their money before the deadline will reserve their spot. Congratulations to ALL the Cope Advanced Band students that auditioned for the 1st-ever LMEA Middle School All-State Band this past Saturday.
These students scored high enough on their audition to advance to the 2nd round of auditions:
Brayden Pascoe and Cheryl Long on contra alto clarinet
Marissa Salinas on alto saxophone
Charli Hays and Noah Harkins on trumpet
David Dumlao on bassoon
Lydia Conrad on French horn
Brayden Pascoe, Lydia Conrad, and Charli Hays won their room with the highest scores of the day to earn 1st chair in the All-District Band.
2nd round results will be announced after November 18th.

CMS - The free dress day tomorrow is a reward ONLY for students who returned their signed impact card today. The free dress day DOES NOT include HOODIES, LEGGINGS, PAJAMA PANTS, CLOTHES WITH HOLES/RIPS/TEARS, OR HALLOWEEN COSTUMES! If a student did not return the card today, school uniforms must be worn.
