The Louisiana Bandmaster’s Association announced placements for the 1st ever Middle School All-State Band. Cope advanced 7 student’s auditions and placed 4 students in the All State Band! Congratulations to Noah Harkins and Charli Hays for placing 6th and 7th in the state on trumpet, Lydia Conrad for placing 6th in the state on French horn, and Brayden Pascoe: 1ST CHAIR IN THE STATE ON CONTRA ALTO CLARINET! These students will attend the LMEA Convention in New Orleans in January to perform with the 1st ever Louisiana All-State Middle School Band! These students are leaders in the STATE! Our CMS Special Olympics bowling trip was a HUGE success! Some our students even won ribbons for their efforts!
