Our CMS Soccer teams faced North DeSoto this evening at AHS. We split wins with the Griffins. It was another great night to see our athletes show off their skills! CMS Girls lost 1-2 Jennifer Nguyen scored CMS Boys won 3-0 Scorers: Pedro Alvarez Austin Amend Myles Bell These groups face Benton on Thursday; come show them your support!
Our Lady Cougars' softball team competed in their first double header last night. Our team didn't earn the most runs on the scoreboard, but it was a beautiful day on the diamond! Even through the losses, our girls were smiling, cheering, and supporting one another in the dugout and on the field..... and we consider that a bigger WIN than any runs on a scoreboard. We are proud of our Lady Cougars! Come see them in action on Thursday, March 20 at 4:30 at Tinsley.

TONIGHT, you are invited to Airline High School on Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium to learn all about high school graduation requirements and other useful information. The freshman counselor, Marnie Garrett, will go over graduation requirements, core course offerings to freshmen, elective offerings to freshmen, and how to apply for a BPSTIL class. The meeting will take place in the Airline auditorium and should last about an hour. If you are unable to attend the meeting, Mrs. Garrett will post everything she covers on her website,which can be accessed from Airline's home page.

Cope Middle School, Please take a look at the attached images/documents for 2025-2026 CMS class scheduling. At the end of this week, our CMS counselors will give a scheduling sheet to each 6th and 7th grade student for next year's scheduling. Please look over these grade-specific sheets ahead of time for the information that you need to be fully informed. Items included are a 7th grade elective choice sheet, 8th grade elective choice sheet, and Qualifications for 8th grade Algebra 1. Please be on the lookout at the end of the week for these COLORED scheduling sheets that your student will bring home for YOUR SIGNATURE in order to register for classes for next year.
Lady Cougars Softball District play starts TODAY, Monday, March 17th. All district games will be played at Tinsley Park (in the back/newer part of the complex). Come out and support our ladies on the diamond!
Our Blue Belle Danceline Try-Out Clinic is this Tuesday through Thursday from 2:30-4:30 in the Cope Gym.

Happy Pi Day!! These are a few pictures of our seventh graders learning about Pi Day before we got out for Spring Break! We hope you can find a circle today and ask your seventh grader the significance of it! Bring learning outside of the classroom as we wrap up spring break!
The Pi symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. (That's why it is celebrated on 3.14, March 14!) All circles no matter its size, have the same ratio-- Pi!

Cougars are helping those in the community!!! 328 Capri Sun & Kool-Aid Jammer drink pouches were collected for the Bossier Pack-a-Sack Program. Thanks to our Cope Middle 4-H & BETA club members for collecting these for those in need! A huge thank you to Mrs. Woodall for delivering these items to the program as well! Last Friday, the Cougars travelled to Haughton High to participate in the Special Olympics. You can see by the smiles on their faces that it was an experience to remember! There were numerous people, both faculty and students, who tagged along to help make this endeavor a huge success! We are so grateful for those who take their time to support these students to make this a fun event! They returned to our campus with ribbons in hand as a reward for their hard work! We are SO proud of you all!

Today the CMS Symphonic Band performed @ the District VIIi Large Ensemble Assessment and earned all Superior ratings for a 16th year in a row! CONGRATULATIONS to this group of 7th and 8th grader band students on a job well done! Another kudos to Band Director, Mr. Rabon, for all of the time, efforts, and organization with our band students and always raising the bar of excellence! Cheers for them ALL!
